Evidence-based treatment at all levels of care
We adhere to the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) criteria and guidelines for evidence-based best practices at each stage of treatment.
Each of our facilities offers individualized treatment plans, comprehensive case management, and proven treatment methods including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
With psychiatric services available as needed, and an experienced team of licensed therapists, we are well equipped to address the mental health issues that often accompany Substance Use Disorders.
Our expert, clinically-proven full care continuum offers these treatment programs. A medical doctor and licensed clinician will help you determine which program is appropriate based on your particular situation and pattern of use. As you grow in recovery, we’ll be with you every step of the way.
Comprehensive medical care for safe and comfortable withdrawal management
For many people with substance use disorders, stopping on your own can be risky. Not only is untreated withdrawal uncomfortable, it can lead to serious medical complications — and in some cases even death.
With 24-hour nursing care, daily consults with a medical provider, and frequent monitoring of vital signs and withdrawal symptoms, our expert and compassionate medical team will stay ahead of your withdrawal to keep you safe, stable, and comfortable during a medical detox.
Clinical programming and case management services begin upon arrival, so the path forward is ready when you are.
A safe and supportive place to learn about addiction, recovery, and yourself.
After detox, it’s time to get active! We offer a full schedule of educational and therapeutic groups, individual sessions, and peer-support activities. Learn about the disease of addiction, explore different treatment tools and modalities, and discover your own strengths, challenges, triggers, and patterns.
Through continued medical supervision, one-on-one therapy, and individual case management, you’ll develop a personal recovery plan, relapse prevention strategy, and aftercare program.
Equally important, you will rekindle a sense of hope, vitality, social connection, and fun to help shift the focus from stopping addictive behavior, to starting to lead a healthy, rewarding life.
Immersive daily treatment without 24-hour supervision
Your recovery is a fulltime job! Gain additional insight through a highly structured curriculum of educational and therapeutic groups; individual sessions with therapists and case managers; and access to medical and psychiatric services as needed. You’ll progress with your cohort and treatment team, meeting for 6 hours a day, up to 5 or more times a week.
Many patients choose to live in sober housing during this time, to ensure that their living environment and free-time activities support their recovery. If you have a stable and supportive home environment, and live nearby, you can consider commuting each day.
PHP offers intensive education, skill building, and therapeutic support for patients needing continued treatment and daily reinforcement, but who no longer need 24-hour monitoring.
Internalize, implement, and practice recovery skills with more independence
Effective part-time treatment when you’re ready to reintegrate. Three hours of groups, 3 to 5 times a week, plus weekly individual therapy sessions ensure that you stay on track. Additional independence allows for opportunities to practice recovery skills, navigate stressors, and create your own network of support in your community.
Patients in IOP have options for a continuing treatment either in a sober living environment, living at home, or participating through our secure virtual platform. Recommendations for continuing care will be made by your treatment team based on your needs and recovery environment.
Weekly sessions with your therapist for long-term success
Addiction is a chronic disease. It’s when you think you’ve “got it” that you’re most vulnerable. Stay connected with your therapist for as long as you need — in person, or virtually — as you navigate your first year (or more!) of recovery. Deepen your insight, talk through your challenges, and maintain a therapeutic connection with a licensed therapist specializing in addiction treatment and the underlying issues that often accompany substance use disorders.
