NASHVILLE, TN – Vertava Health, a national behavioral healthcare system specializing in substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions, has earned the American Society of Addiction Medicine’s (ASAM) Level of Care Certification and The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval®. Vertava Health’s residential treatment centers in Ohio, Massachusetts, Texas, and Mississippi have each received certification for ASAM Level of Care 3.5, Clinically Managed High-Intensity Residential Services, and ASAM Level of Care 3.7, Medically Monitored Intensive Inpatient Services, which is the highest level of recovery-oriented services available outside of a hospital setting. In earning these certifications, Vertava Health locations join less than 200 other providers nationally who have been recognized with this achievement. “Achieving ASAM Level of Care Certification speaks to the high standard of care we uphold at Vertava Health each and every day, thanks largely in part to our superior team members across the company,” says Matt Morgan, CEO & President of Vertava Health. “We’ve been pioneering care in the Behavioral Healthcare industry, using digital tools, data-driven clinical models, and evidence-based treatment programs. With this certification, patients can feel even more confident that when they come to Vertava Health, they’ll be receiving the highest quality of care.” Vertava Health additionally underwent a rigorous, unannounced onsite review where they earned a Gold Seal. During the visit, a team of Joint Commission reviewers evaluated compliance with Vertava Health’s standards. The Gold Seal is a symbol of quality that reflects a health care organization’s commitment to providing safe and quality patient care.   “We commend Vertava Health for its continuous quality improvement efforts in patient safety and quality of care” says Mark Pelletier, RN, MS, Chief Operating Officer, Accreditation and Certification Operations, and Chief Nursing Executive, The Joint Commission. #### About Vertava Health Vertava Health is a comprehensive national behavioral healthcare system specializing in substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.
