ADDICTION CAMPUSES EXPANDS PUBLIC RELATIONS TEAM Reporter Erika Lathon Joins as Public Relations Manager   NASHVILLE, Tenn. (February 5, 2018) – Vertava Health is proud to announce Reporter Erika Lathon, formerly of WZTV, has joined the team as their new Public Relations Manager.   Lathon is a familiar face in Middle Tennessee where she has been reporting news on air for 17 years. She is an Associated Press Award winning journalist with 7 Emmy nominations. Erika is respected among her colleagues for being aggressive, fair and compassionate.   “I have always had a heart for helping people and I’m excited to join a team of professionals in educating the public on the nation’s opioid crisis,” says Lathon. “It’s great to be part of an organization creating a path to recovery and I look forward to sharing those stories.”   Prior to moving to Nashville, Lathon worked as a reporter and anchor at WAAY Television in Huntsville, Alabama. Of the thousands of stories she’s tackled, none was more difficult than her own. After being shot during an ATM robbery in 2012, Lathon called 9-1-1 but didn’t wait for help to arrive. Instead, she drove herself to the nearest hospital, making headlines all over the globe.   “It’s that tenacious, unstoppable spirit that has served her as a reporter and I believe that same spirit is what will make her an extremely valuable member of the team at Vertava Health,” says Director of Public Relations Brian Sullivan.   Lathon will serve directly under Sullivan and alongside Public Relations Manager Brett Martin. They will be based at the Vertava Health’ Home Campus in the West End area of Nashville, Tennessee. You can contact her directly at elathon@addictioncampuses.com or 615.594.5982.   If you are a member of the media and wish to schedule an interview with a client, alumnus or staff, please contact Brett Martin or me directly at bsullivan@addictioncampuses.com or 901.949.7926.   ABOUT ADDICTION CAMPUSES: Vertava Health offers a plethora of effective, innovative addiction treatment programs from industry leading professionals who help build a comprehensive life in recovery beyond the standard 30-day plan.
