Some of our locations offer primary care services to help patients and their families in their wellness journeys.
Taking Care of Your Health and Your Family
Alongside treatment for mental health disorders and substance use conditions, Vertava Health is proud to offer primary care services at some of our locations to help patients and their families receive the comprehensive care they need to live out their best futures.
Primary care providers are trained in a wide range of medical care procedures and typically focus on broader healthcare services. Along with diagnosis and treatment of a number of common ailments and conditions, a primary care doctor can also provide a variety of preventative care services for their patients. These services may include routine checkups, screening tests, health risk assessments, and wellness counseling. When chronic illnesses are present in their patients, primary care physicians will also help coordinate care with professionals in appropriate subspecialties to ensure that their patient is getting the right care.
Family medicine is unique in that it provides medical care services to entire families, and family physicians often build strong as well as lasting relationships with their patients and their families.
