ABOUT KRISTA SWEET:

Krista Sweet is Market Director for Vertava Health and based out of Ohio and Pennsylvania. With over ten years in the addiction treatment industry, Krista began her career as a tech in adolescent drug and alcohol program. She then became a treatment counselor and case manager before spending most of her career as a therapist at outpatient program outside of Pittsburgh. As a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC), Krista also serves on the board for Not One More Pittsburgh Chapter (NOM) – which brings communities together to take action against the addiction crisis. Krista says she fell in love with the addiction and mental health field after completing a college internship at a local outpatient program. She’s always admired the strength it takes for individuals to make those types of life changes. Living in an area ravaged by the opiate epidemic, she feels compelled to do anything she can to help her community. In addition to work, Krista spends time with her fiance Lamar and son Adrian. She also enjoys gardening, fishing and traveling.
