Addiction Campuses Deploys 23 Mobile Crisis Units Across the United States
Call Center Operations Expanding
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (11/3/2017) – Addiction Campuses, nationwide leader in treating substance use and mental health disorders, announces the deployment of 23 mobile crisis units across the United States. The team, which has been in the process of assembly over the past two months, was flown in for training this week at Home Campus following President Donald Trump’s Public Health Emergency declaration.
“Overdose deaths in the opioid epidemic are increasing at a rapid pace, and we need feet on the ground,” says Addiction Campuses Chief Marketing Officer Eric Mitchell. “It is a national disaster that requires meeting people in their areas. Regardless of public policy, our mission will always remain the same – to provide top level treatment to those suffering from alcoholism, substance use disorder and mental health issues with a heart of compassion.”
The group traveled to Nashville on Wednesday, November 1 from Texas, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Tennessee, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Kansas, Missouri, Alabama, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Florida for a crash course in Addiction Campuses policy and procedure, collaboration, referral relations and public outreach. Once on the ground, the directors will be able to connect those seeking treatment with options in their area.
The group will report directly to Chief Marketing Officer Eric Mitchell.

“We had been working on expanding our public outreach and after the President’s announcement we knew we had to take action and decided to bring everyone in at one time,” says Addiction Campuses CEO Brent Clements. “We had the training tools in place, and felt that it was something we needed to do to answer the nation’s call for help.”
Melissa Townes, National Director of Strategic Development, Addiction Campuses
Training for the group ends today. In addition to the new onsite units, the Addiction Campuses’ Call Center has hired two additional Treatment Specialist teams in preparation of the expected increase in call volume.
