Frequently Asked Questions

The Basics

Where is Vertava Health located?

We have multiple treatment centers throughout the United States as well as virtual care options available in some states. Find a Vertava Health facility near you or contact us to talk with our care team about your treatment options.

Do you take minors?

We do have some locations and programs that accept adolescents. Contact us to find out if you or your child qualifies for one of these adolescent programs and if treatment is available in your area.

Are your treatment centers pet-friendly?

Pets may be accepted with prior approval. Owners must provide up-to-date vaccination records and answer certain questions beforehand. Pets and owners must also follow specific rules and regulations during their time in treatment. Pets who are not well behaved or who disturb programming may need to be kenneled.

Do you take couples?

Depending on the location and the treatment program, we will allow couples to go through treatment together with prior approval. Some of our treatment programs also allow patients to opt for couples therapy as an added program to their regular treatment plan.

Can I bring my child with me to treatment?

At this time, we cannot accommodate patients’ children during treatment.

Can I have my cellphone?

Yes. Patients may have their cellphone but must follow certain conditions and requirements.

Addiction Treatment Program Details

Do you offer dual diagnosis treatment in rehab?

At Vertava Health, we believe in providing our patients with comprehensive care during their time in rehab. Rather than dual diagnosis programs, our rehabs address patients’ mental health symptoms that are connected to their substance use with co-occurring disorder treatment. We also have separate outpatient mental health treatment plans.

How long is rehab? Do you offer long-term rehab?

Typically, patients receiving inpatient addiction treatment will reside on-site for 30 to 45 days; however, everyone is different and programming can be adjusted to best meet the needs of the patient.

Because we offer a full continuum of care for substance use that ranges from detox to virtual care, we are able to provide patients with support for an extended amount of time as they navigate early recovery. This continued treatment can help reduce the risk of relapse.

What medications are used during detox?

Medication-assisted treatment may help with withdrawal symptoms or assist in the detox process, but detox is different for everyone. Our medical team will help determine which, if any, medications are right for you or your loved one during detox.

Do you offer outpatient detox?

We do not offer outpatient detox, but we do offer medications for alcohol and opioid use disorders in our outpatient programs at some locations. Our care team will help you decide if this treatment plan is right for you or your loved one.

Paying for Treatment

How much does treatment cost?

The cost of treatment will depend on a variety of different factors such as the specific program, length of treatment, number of sessions, and the patient’s unique treatment plan. After an initial assessment of the patient’s needs, our care team will have a better idea of treatment cost. Contact us today to learn more.

Do you take insurance?

Yes. We accept several top insurance providers and may help you get in contact with your provider to determine what type of treatment is covered by your plan. We also accept private pay as well as flexible payment options if you are out-of-network. For those without insurance, our care team may direct you to third-party sources so you can see if you are eligible for health benefits that cover treatment. Contact our care team today to discuss your options in more detail.

Do you accept Medicaid?

No, we do not accept Medicaid, but we do have other payment options for those in need. Reach out to us to learn more about your payment alternatives.

Do you offer payment plans?

We understand that not everyone can pay for treatment outright and not everyone has insurance. There are payment options available, and our care team is happy to discuss these opportunities with you in more detail when you contact us.

Do you offer grants/scholarships?

At this time, we do not offer grants or scholarships, but you may search for third-party options on your own. Our care team can also offer guidance on other payment options
