Steve McGill

As Chief Financial Officer, Steve McGill is instrumental in the success of Vertava Health. In addition to overseeing accounting, auditing, budgeting and forecasting, he is also focused on reducing costs, driving profitability, and improving business performance. He has a track record of optimizing business performance and enhancing overall capabilities by deploying enterprise technology solutions. Steve has special expertise in directing large-scale post-merger integrations, contract management, and negotiations.

 

Prior to joining Vertava Health, Steve was the Vice President of Financial Planning and Administration for Brookdale Senior Living, where he worked in roles of increasing responsibility for 22 years. Steve oversaw financial and operational functions for this $500M+ healthcare organization’s ancillary services areas, with 168 hospice, home health, and outpatient therapy locations. He carried out strategic planning, projections, forecasting, expense management, revenue monitoring and optimization, contract approval, reporting, and policy/procedure design and implementation. Steve was also responsible for building the organizations 5-year plans, setting financial controls, and formulating models for acquisitions.

Steve has a Bachelors of Science from Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN. When not working, Steve enjoys spending time at the beach with family.
